Hi and welcome to my DIY blog! I hope to fill this blog with my awesome creations and some "how to" tutorials.

Brooches/ Hair Clips

Brooches / Hair Clips

Future Mrs. Murphree:
Amy's beautiful birdcage vail. Modern Vintage just like you hun.

Amy's Ladies:
Amy's bridesmaids will look just darling with these organza and chiffon flower clips.

Lady Noir:
I love vintage Cameo... it's sooo me!!

Icy Bloom:
Made of navy organza and light blue tulle this brooch is perfect to pair it with a ribbon of your choice. I opted for an icy silver ribbon to make a belt. But you can wear this however you like.

Trinity Blossoms:
brooch, necklace, hair clip, clip it on a belt or solid headband and presto!

Vintage Bloom:
I opted to leave this as a brooch just cuz i wanted it to be versatile. It came out soo beautiful that i wanted to make it as a headband, brooch, necklace, hair clip every way i could.

Preppy:
mostly a hair clip but it can really be used however you like.

Brown Magnolia:
The bigger flower is made of caramel brown silk. The inner flower is made of patterned organza and a pearl bead on the center.

I am wearing this brooch as a belt for my Easter outfit, but really you can wear it any way your heart desires.

Rose Buds
I made these lil baby buds to match my brown magnolia for my Easter outfit. I attached them to lil clips so they can be used anywhere really: headbands, stand alone hair clip, shoe clips, on a necklace, basically endless possibilities. I made 4 rose buds out of silk to spice up my old flats.

Lily Pads:
The base is made of velvet ribbon and the lily pads are black lace with a pearl bead finish to give it the lily pad look.

You can pin it to any simple shirt to add a lil drama! Here i placed it slanted across one side.

Change the position and get a whole new look. Here I placed it vertical making the look a bit more tailored.
